About Ace Overhead Doors, LLC

Tom Ljubicic started Ace Overhead Doors, LLC in 2009 after working part-time in the industry for several years. It was meant to be a side business, something he enjoyed doing that also provided a little extra income for his young family. But the business grew every year. Tom was a one-man-operation until 2019 when he expanded the team. Now Tom’s primary focus is the customer. He works tirelessly to provide homeowners, architects and builders with all of the information they need to make the best decision for their property and budget. Whether it be a technically complex commercial project, a storm-resistant carriage house door, or new Wi-Fi-enabled openers; each job and every customer gets the attention and respect they deserve. Tom is an Eagle Scout still active with local Troop 76, a member of the Downtown Mystic Flag Committee, and an active parishioner at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Tom grew up in Mystic, CT where he still lives with his wife Amanda and three children Marijana, Dominic and Josephine.

Amanda Ljubicic joined Ace Overhead Doors, LLC in 2020. Amanda manages the administrative side of the business and thoroughly enjoys working with customers alongside Tom. And since she used to join Tom on installations and repairs in the early years, she can help a customer troubleshoot DIY repairs over the phone. Amanda previously worked as the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT and the Vice President of Strategy at Mitchell College. Amanda is a member of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce Foundation, teaches Spin at the Mystic YMCA, serves as Membership Chair for the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Eastern CT, and sings in the choir and teaches faith formation at St. Patrick’s Church.

Jeff joined Ace Overhead Doors, LLC in 2019 after a ten-year career at Home Depot assisting contractors and homeowners with all their project needs. Jeff leads the technical team at Ace. He is praised by customers for his neat and efficient work, polite demeanor, and knowledge of door and opener systems. Jeff grew up in Mystic, CT and lives in Stonington. He enjoys mountain biking, cycling, and boating.

Benjamin joined Ace Overhead Doors, LLC in November of 2021. He is an experienced electrician with excellent mechanical skills. Benjamin lives in Taftville with his wife and five children. He moved to Connecticut from Brooklyn, NY in 2020.

Ron joined Ace Overhead Doors, LLC in 2023. Ron came to Ace with a strong background in construction and customer service. He is a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, and customers frequently comment on his strong mechanical skills and friendly, outgoing personality. Ron enjoys listening to music and spending time with his son.

Anthony joined Ace Overhead Doors, LLC in 2024, and his time with the United States Navy made him a great addition to the team. Anthony grew up in Quaker Hill and recently purchased his first home in Montville where he lives with his wife, Michelle. Outside of work, Anthony enjoys hiking, football, and DIY projects around his new home.

Jennifer joined Ace Overhead Doors, LLC in February 2025. Her many years of customer service and scheduling experience is an excellent fit for her position answering customer calls and dispatching our skilled technical team. Jen grew up in Connecticut, and she currently lives along the shoreline with her two teenage daughters and their small dog, Coconut.
